Zoe and Sam's Education

One of my biggest concerns about this move is where Zoe and Sam would go to school. We've loved Milwaukee German Immersion and were anxious for Sam to join Zoe there in the fall. We are lucky that Pentair provides an eduction allowance and we have chosen a private school for Zoe. The public schools in Switzerland are very good as well, so we were comfortable in the quality of education either way, however with the private school our kids will get more support with the language. In the fall Zoe will be atending Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande. The school is in Lausanne and about a 20 minute commute from Morges. The main language is French, but they also have English instruction. Dan met with the headmaster and toured the school. He was very pleased. Being a teacher this was torture for me. I want to see it for myself, but I was the one that actually found this school on the Internet and then Dan learned that a co-workers daughters also attend there. The website is www.ensr.ch

Sam will attend the local public school in Morges this fall and join Zoe and ENSR the following year. It will be a half day program and we hope he'll be able to pick up French. Should be interesting!
