Zoe's goodbyes

Zoe has been cramming in lots of time with friends. She hung out with her friend Maya on the 7th and got to see most of her Brownie troop on a fieldtrip July 12th. The next day she was invited to Stone Fire Pizza with Paighten. July 14th was a HUGE event, we took her teacher, Frau Bay, out for lunch. Then we spent time with my cousin Ann Marie and her kids on the 15th. Thursday we visited my Grandma, saw a movie with Morgan and her mom (neighbor girl), and met her friend Lucy and family at Noodles for dinner. Friday was the zoo with my friend Laura and her kids. Julia and Zoe are six months apart, just like Laura and me! Yesterday was her dear friend Lavette's birthday. She got to see her friend Sadie there too. All that's left is trying to see her friend, Grace. Zoe and Grace were crib buddies at daycare at 5 months of age and went to German Immersion together. There have been many tears and the reality is sinking in. Thank goodness for email and good old-fashioned letters!!!! Oh, and Sam has a playdate tomorrow with his best friend A.J.
The kids also got to see their cousin Quinn, who lives in Colorado. Next week they'll get to see their cousin JJ, Uncle Joe, and Aunt Haruko from New York. Whew!
