We've Arrived!!!

Well we are now officially Swiss residents!!! I just want to start off by saying that we are so grateful for all the support and prayers. We feel fortunate that we were able to see most of you before we left or at least got to chat on the phone. The last few weeks were crazy. So we managed to get to Chicago smoothly...thanks to my brother Joe who drove us down and helped us check our bags. The kids did well on the flight. Sam watched "Cars" and Zoe watched "Horton Hears a Who", then they slept for a bit. Ben on the other hand didn't enjoy the flight as much and spent most of it in his daddy's arms...he did sleep there, but wanted nothing to do with his car seat. We did good getting through customs, a breeze, and had a Starbucks before boarding the train. While we were on the train platform I said to Dan, "How much do you want to bet that Ben is going to have a huge poop on the train." Well...ha ha ha...two minutes before the train was to arrive I look at the little booger and he has poop pouring out of his diaper and all over the stoller! Yeah, that was fun. Sam and Ben napped on the train. Zoe got a second or third wind, or whatever. Girl is a trooper. Getting to the company apartment was our biggest challenge. We have a VW Passat wagon as a rental, but it was a bit of a pain getting it, but once we were all loaded, no problem. So now it's getting over jetlag. Not as easy as I thought. Zoe slept 14 hours the first night....awesome. Sam was up for a good two hours in the middle of the night...just wide awake. He was so cute, "Mom, I'm hungry, do you think they have any cheese crackers in this town?" Ben cried most of the night. Night number two was better....and hopefully tonight will improve too!
