We piled in the car today for the two hour drive to Basel for their Christmas Market. The drive was a bit much for a day trip, but the kids really enjoyed themselves and the food was great! We enjoyed potato pancakes, sausages, spiced wine, and warm candied almonds. We bought a small gift for Sam's Godmother and I bought a straw Christmas star and ornament. Ben had a blast going on a carnival ride!? Tonight Dan is baking the gingerbread pieces to what will hopefully become a successful gingerbread house!
