Um, did you want to get drenched?

On Thursday, April 16th, Zoe's school friend, Macy and her mom and sister came to Morges to spend the morning and have lunch. This was the first day of the vacation that had rain in the forcast for Morges. When they arrived at 10:30 it was cloudy and drizzling. The kids played inside for about 45 minutes and we decided to try to walk to the park and see the tulips. When we got outside it was misty but not too bad. The park is across the street. It took us maybe 5 minutes to get to the lake and the rain came down. The kind of rain that makes an umbrella useless. The kids were on their scooters, Ben in the stroller....we went as fast as we could to get back to our apartment. The wind was so awful. By the time we got back there was not a dry spot on anyone. My jeans...well I may as well have jumped in Lac Leman. I passed out sweatpants to everyone and threw our clothes in the dryer. They stayed for lunch and despite the unexpected drenching, we had a nice visit.
