The last time we were in Guryere it was fall and the colors were beautiful. We didn't consider the elevation and how much snow would be in Gruyere. The old town and chateau are nestled on top of a huge hill and it's a bit of a climb to get there. Then add slippery snow, a stroller, and three small children....hilarious! We laughed the entire time up, but thankfully none of us completely "bit it"! I was just waiting to slip, drop the stoller, (Dan was carrying Ben), and watch the stroller slide down the hill taking out everyone in it's path!
We skipped fondue (I made it that night), but did stop for Gruyere's famous double creme! It was a really fun day and it was so much fun to show Ann Marie some of our favorite sites!
