We celebrated Ben's birthday tonight with our good friends...our adopted Swiss Family. Sooze, Didi, Pia, Alena, Sandra, and Matt. I tried to keep it simple...appetizers and cake. The kids had a blast playing with squirt bottles and Zoe and Pia provided us with after-dinner entertainment. There is always dinner and a show at the Elko house!
Ben was all smiles when we sang Happy Birthday to him. He got the song in English, French, and German! He also loved his presents. We also let him open his gifts from Grandma Janet and Uncle Joe/Aunt Haruko, JJ, & Patrick. The big boy underwear were a hit. He immediately put on a pair...over his shorts! He wore them all night!
It was so nice sharing this celebration with friends. We'll have to come up with another reason to get together soon for more peanut butter frosting!!!
