On Sunday we took a long drive home. The weather was gorgeous, but a thin layer of clouds seemed to be covering the mountaintops every time we wanted to stop and take a cable car up! However the drive around Lake Luzern and Lake Uri was breathtaking. The water is so blue-green and we stopped and did some cool walks. It's difficult for me to actually say exactly where we were though as we weren't really following an itinerary. I do know that we drove though the Interlaken area though.
We stopped and hiked to some waterfalls that we all really enjoyed. The last hike was a bit treacherous with the kids, but they did a great job. Dan just kept reminding them to stay against the "wall". We also saw a chapel dedicated to the Swiss hero, William Tell and listened to some huge bells.
