On our final full day we left the Hotel Borgo Castelletti after our last delicious breakfast and headed towards Milan. On the spur of the moment Dan programmed the town of Maranello in to the GPS....destination: Galleria Ferrari. I don't know who was more excited Sam or Dan. I will even admit, it was VERY cool! The town also is home to the factory and we were able to hear a Ferrari being tested on the track. The galleria was amazing because you could get up close to so many cars AND you could take pictures. I'm pretty sure we have photos of most of the cars on display. It was a great way to end the trip before our last night outside of Milan. We had dinner with a co-worker of Dan's. Mateao is from Milan and just moved to Lausanne with his wife Valentina and their one year old daughter Martina. They took us to a nice restaurant for dinner....fresh pasta....SO good! Ciao Italia!
