It's been awhile...

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a few days since I added anything to the blog. It's been difficult being between two apartments. We have no routine, so I'm having a hard time finding the free moments to sit down and write. It is 10:20 pm. Zoe is still awake, we are still adjusting to jetlag. Also adjusting to the late dinner hours. We wanted to have an early dinner this evening and went to a pizza place by our flat in Morges. We got there at 5:00, were told they didn't open until 6:30, got there at 6:30, our order wasn't taken until 7:00....consequently Sam ate a half a pizza by the time the food came!

So what have we been up to? Today the kids and I went to a swimming pool with Bebeth, Julie, and Chloe. Dan dropped us off in Pully, where they live, and then we took the bus to the pool. The pools in Lausanne are quite nice. There are large grassy areas, a kiddie pool, a pool that Zoe can just stand in, and then a lap pool. There are also ping pong tables, volleyball, food. It's fun. Not to mention it's right on the lake overlooking the mountains! The kiddie pool is about a 1 1/2 feet deep, a bit too much in my opinion, but Ben loved it. Although he wouldn't put his feet on the ground so I had to hold him the whole time. He is not afraid of putting his face in the water!

Zoe and Sam seem to get along well with Julie and Chloe, although communication is still limited.
