Sorry folks, nothing "blogworthy" today. We really took our time getting up and going this morning. We took the kids across the street to the soccer fields and played baseball. Yes, we
ARE Americans! ha ha. After Ben's nap we took the kids to the pool. It closes in one week. We ran into one of Sam's classmates, Olivia. Zoe and Olivia's older sister, Sophia, had a great time jumping into the pool. After dinner we took another walk. The highlight for me was getting a skype call from my brother Joe and nephew JJ in New York. It was great to see their faces and chat with them. We also talked to my parents today on skype. We tried calling Dan's mom but she wasn't online. So tomorrow is the big BUS day....we'll definitely add a post about that! I hope you all enjoy your Labor Day tomorrow. Hard to believe it's September!

Oops...this grandma missed another opportunity. I was down in the "low spot" picking summer apples before the raccoon gets them. Will make some applesauce and freeze it for your Christmas trip home. Zoe's tree has four apples and Sam's has two. Those are fall apples and need a little more time. Wishing you all the best Zoe on your first "bus" day. Loved the picture of Ben and his ice cream cone...he enjoyed every bit of it didn't he?!? Uncle Ray is home and we had a root beer float at Steggy's. Summer is coming to a close in Eagle River.
